These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of coaching services provided by Smooth English (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By purchasing any coaching package, class, workshop, assessment, course, or service offered by Smooth English, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Services
Smooth English provides online English language coaching, including but not limited to:
- IELTS Coaching
- Business English Coaching
- One-to-One Coaching
- Small Group Coaching
- Workshops
- English Fluency Training
- Speaking Practice Sessions
- IELTS Preparation Services
- Learning Materials and Resources
The exact contents of each package are described at the time of purchase.
Payment
All coaching fees must be paid in full unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Prices are subject to change at any time. Any changes will not affect services already purchased.
Payments are non-transferable between individuals.
Package Validity
To ensure lesson availability and maintain coaching quality, all packages must be completed within the following periods:
IELTS Coaching
- 10-Class Package: Valid for 3 months from the purchase date.
- 20-Class Package: Valid for 5 months from the purchase date.
- 30-Class Package: Valid for 7 months from the purchase date.
Intensive Coaching
- 30-Class Intensive: Valid for 3 months from the purchase date.
- 60-Class Intensive: Valid for 6 months from the purchase date.
- 120-Class Intensive: Valid for 12 months from the purchase date.
Business English Coaching
- 10-Class Package: Valid for 3 months from the purchase date.
- 20-Class Package: Valid for 5 months from the purchase date.
- 30-Class Package: Valid for 7 months from the purchase date.
Unused lessons expire automatically at the end of the package validity period and are not refundable.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Students may reschedule a lesson by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be counted as completed lessons.
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without notice will be considered a no-show and the lesson will be forfeited.
If Smooth English cancels a lesson, the student will be offered a replacement lesson at no additional cost.
Refund Policy

No Guarantee of Results
Smooth English provides professional coaching and training. However, we do not guarantee:
- Specific IELTS scores;
- University admission;
- Visa approval;
- Employment opportunities;
- Promotions;
- Salary increases;
- Specific English proficiency outcomes.
Student success depends on many factors including attendance, effort, study habits, language background, consistency, and examination performance.
Student Responsibilities
Students agree to:
- Attend scheduled lessons on time;
- Maintain a reliable internet connection;
- Complete recommended study activities;
- Treat coaches and other students respectfully;
- Participate actively in coaching sessions.
Code of Conduct
Smooth English reserves the right to suspend or terminate coaching services without refund where a student:
- Engages in abusive behaviour;
- Harasses staff or other students;
- Uses discriminatory language;
- Repeatedly disrupts lessons;
- Violates these Terms and Conditions.
Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Smooth English, including but not limited to:
- Worksheets
- PDFs
- Videos
- Recordings
- Training Systems
- Assessments
- Vocabulary Resources
- Lesson Materials
remain the intellectual property of Smooth English.
Materials may not be copied, shared, sold, distributed, published, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission.
Recording Policy
Smooth English may record lessons for training, quality assurance, educational, or administrative purposes.
Students may not record, distribute, publish, or share lessons without prior written permission.
Technology Disclaimer
Students are responsible for maintaining:
- Suitable devices;
- Internet access;
- Required software and applications.
Smooth English is not responsible for disruptions caused by the student’s equipment or internet connection.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smooth English shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in coaching services.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the student for the relevant service.
Force Majeure
Smooth English shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters;
- Internet outages;
- Government restrictions;
- Illness;
- Power failures;
- Telecommunications failures.
Where possible, replacement sessions will be offered.
Privacy
Smooth English may collect personal information required to deliver coaching services, including name, email address, assessment results, coaching records, and progress information.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
Acceptance
By purchasing any service from Smooth English, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
